Why do you wear cotton in a hyperbaric chamber?
There are two types of hyperbaric chambers: oxygen pressurized chambers and air hyperbaric pressurized chambers. For oxygen pressurized chambers, the oxygen concentration is above 90% inside the chamber, so you should wear cotton clothes. But for air hyperbaric pressurized chambers, its oxygen concentration is less than 23%, so wearing cotton is not required.
How will you ship the chamber to me?
We ship the chamber to you by door to door sea freight by default. The shipping time is about a month. If by air freight, the shipping time is 2 weeks. If you have a special requirement for the shipping time, please let us know that.
What does it feel like in a hyperbaric chamber?
Normally the whole hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) feels like comfortable and relaxes.
But as the pressure increases, you might feel a fullness or popping sensation in your ears, similar to flying on an airplane. In order to clear your ears and alleviate this feeling, you can use techniques like swallowing or chewing gum.
Who is a good candidate for hyperbaric oxygen therapy?
Hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) are suitable for a large group of people. Here are some conditions that may make a person a good candidate for HBOT: chronic non-healing wounds; infections; radiation injuries; skin grafts and flaps at risk of failure; crush injuries and traumatic wounds; serious trauma and blocked blood flow; carbon monoxide poisoning;diving injuries;etc.
How do you feel after hyperbaric oxygen therapy?
The effects of hyperbaric oxygen therapy vary from person to person. Most people experience no significant discomfort, or only brief ear pressure, mild fatigue, or dry mouth, which quickly subside after resting and drinking water. Some people may feel mentally relaxed and experience improved sleep. A small number may experience temporary myopia (which resolves within a few weeks after treatment ends). If you experience persistent ear pain, sudden vision loss, or chest tightness, you should inform your doctor immediately.
